KACEY GIBSON, DO
Dr. Gibson is a lifelong Gulf Coast native spending her childhood between New Orleans, LA and Ocean Springs, MS. After graduating from Ole Miss, she attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fl for Medical School graduating in 2007. She then had the opportunity and privilege to serve as an Air Force Physician until 2014. During this time, she met her husband and started a family. Dr. Gibson and her husband moved to the Pensacola area in 2014 to be closer to family. Dr. Gibson’s motto for medicine is “treating the whole patient.” She takes the time with each patient to try and diagnose where disease comes from and works with the patient on an individual treatment plan. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys cooking anything and everything and time with her husband and 2 boys.
MAUREEN PADDEN, MD
Dr. Padden is a graduate of University of California San Diego and Uniformed Services University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in California and is board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington and is a designated US Navy Flight Surgeon. She spent 30 years in the Navy, including as the Commanding Officer of Naval Hospital Pensacola, before retiring to the Pensacola Community in 2017. Dr. Padden’s interests include chronic disease management, diabetes, nutrition, and weight management. She enjoys running, traveling, gardening, raising backyard chickens and has remained active in national and state medical societies’ advocacy efforts. She is married with three children, four dogs and three chickens.
JENNIFER RICHARDSON, PA-C
Jennifer Richardson graduated from the University of South Alabama Physician Assistant Program with honors in 1999. She immediately joined Gary Gotthelf M.D. in practice. She loves working with her patients and is thankful to have spent the last 24 years working side by side with her mentor, Dr. Gotthelf. In 2021 she purchased the practice with the promise to continue to provide excellent primary care for her patients in a private practice setting. Jennifer was named Physician Assistant of the year by Scarlett Magazine in 2022 and was honored to be selected as a finalist for the 2023 Junior League of Pensacola’s Women’s Empowerment Awards. In addition to practicing medicine, Jennifer enjoys giving back to her community. She has volunteered with the Friends of the Pace Library for over a decade, is on the Santa Rosa County Library Advisory Council, and participates in numerous other community events. Jennifer and her husband have been together since high school and have been married for 26 years. They have 2 boys in college and enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
CARI WADDELL, PA-C
Cari Waddell was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, where she continued to reside as she completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of South Alabama. After graduating in 2016, she immediately began her career in primary care. She joined Gary Gotthelf and Associates in February 2021. Cari has been married since 2014, has one son, and one dog. As a family, they like to go on adventures, which usually includes the great outdoors. Her personal interests include visiting national parks, long days at the beach, spending time with family, and tasting her husband’s culinary creations.
HANNAH BROWN, PA-C
Hannah Brown grew up in Southern California and graduated with her Batchelor’s from Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) in 2013. After graduating from PLNU, her family moved to Panama City Beach, FL. In April 2017, she married her best friend and later that year moved to Abilene, TX to start PA school at Hardin-Simmons University. She graduated as a PA-C in December 2019. She then worked as an Emergency Medicine PA for 15 months until moving
back to Pensacola, FL in May 2021. She and her husband are happy to be back in Pensacola with their son and golden doodle. She has enjoyed providing care to her Pensacola community and is excited to continue to do so. Along with working in the medical field, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, playing the piano, singing, and leading worship at church, and participating in mission work locally and internationally.
ADAM TARNOSKY, MD
Dr. Tarnosky grew up in Pensacola and graduated from Tate High School in 1993. He attended FSU for undergraduate school and received his medical degree from the University of Florida in 2001. After completing his residency in Family Medicine at Atlanta Medical Center in 2004, he returned home and has been practicing in the area for almost 20 years. His special medical interests include preventive care and chronic disease management. His favorite part of being a primary care physician is developing long term relationships with patients and their families. He is married and has 2 children. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sailing, and horseback riding.
MARISSA VASQUEZ - PRACTICE MANAGER
Marissa Vasquez was born and raised in Milton and currently resides in Pace. She joined the practice in 2021 as the Practice Manager. She is married to her best friend Randy and has three wonderful children, Nolan, Nathan, and Harper and is a dog mom to Ellie Mae and Ralph. She has held positions in various administrative roles since 2008 in Primary Care, Orthopedics and Dermatology. Along with working full-time as the Medical Practice Manager, she is furthering her education at Pensacola State College part- time. Marissa enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, travelling on family vacations, and attending sporting events for her children. She is a tried-and-true FSU fan and enjoys sharing that interest with her husband. Her true passion in life is leading others to become their most successful self and being able to have a part in helping people during their time of need. Her retirement plans include a lot of rescue dogs and a trip to Greece!
KRISTEN MARCOTTE- FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR/REFERRAL COORDINATOR
Kristen Marcotte grew up in a family of six in the small town of Allendale, Illinois. She went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. After graduating, she landed an internship at Disney World. Kristen decided to shift her career focus to the medical field. She has been with the practice since 2019 and developed a passion for providing quality patient care. Outside of work, her hobbies include cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with her rescue dog, Roscoe.
